Michaël Reinhold (b. 1990 ) is a French-Tunisian artist from Zurich, Switzerland. He is based in Berlin and works within the mediums of performance, film, video, and painting. Holding a BA in Fine Arts from the Zurich University of Arts, he will graduate this summer with an MFA in Art and Media from the Berlin University of the Arts, specializing in Experimental and Narrative Film.
Reinhold's boundary-pushing works delve into the intricate intersections of identity, liminality, and masculine fragility. His captivating performances and characters invite audiences to question societal norms, challenge preconceptions, and engage in thought-provoking dialogues about the complexities of gender and self.
His work has been featured at the Kunstverein Friedrichshafen, Tokyo Image Forum Festival, and Run Run Shawn Creative Center (Hong Kong), among others. He is represented by the Art Foundation of the Zeppelin Museum and in many private collections in Switzerland and France.
Michaël Reinhold is currently trying to sleep in Berlin, Los Angeles and Alsace.
